I've just joined the Blogging from AtoZ Challenge, with which I hope to kickstart some fresh new blogging ideas for the next month. The catch is I have to blog around one letter of the alphabet every day of the week, starting with A today. And no this is not an April Fool's joke!

This is a great site. I'm a young hydrologist myself (only three years out of engineering school), and your specialty in cold regions sounds much more exciting than my Kentucky climate's challenges. I look forward to following your blog and seeing what all you have to deal with.
